Following Tuesday night’s announcement Mohamed Salah (£14.0m) will leave Liverpool at the end of this season, it’s time to embark on a sentimental final journey for the Egyptian.
The true GOAT of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is about to hit the road. So let’s celebrate his record-breaking and title-winning career at Anfield.
WRONG STATS
Currently on 2,216 FPL points thanks to 191 goals, 104 assists and 232 bonuses, Salah trails only Wayne Rooney (2,338) and Frank Lampard (2,318) on the all-time list.
34 of those points came at Chelsea, where he played just 564 league minutes in the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons. On the scoresheet against Arsenal, he immediately scored a goal and provided an assist at home to Stoke City.
After being briefly transferred to Serie A, he was brought to Liverpool by Jurgen Klopp for an initial fee of £34 million. And the rest is history….

The only player to exceed 300 FPL points in a season, he did it twice, never finishing below 211 in the previous eight seasons.
Apart from that, Salah’s 29 points when he hosted Watford in the 2017/18 season was a record score in one match.
Last season’s Double Gameweek 24 achieved the same total, one more than the 2021/22 Double Gameweek 26 versus Norwich City and Leeds United.

Certain groups of fans have good reason to fear seeing Salah coming out of the tunnel. The 33-year-old really enjoyed facing Manchester United, who he will visit again in Gameweek 35.
Are there any opponents that Salah is likely to face?
Surprisingly, it was Burnley. He has scored just two goals in 11 meetings with the Clarets. And he will also be disappointed with Chelsea’s five goals in 16 games.
SEASON BY SEASON
2017/18

However, the makings of an FPL legend began in 2017. Initially valued at just £9.0m by the folks at FPL Towers, his debut goal and assist at Watford were quickly repeated against Arsenal in Gameweek 3. The first two goals of 87 double-figure hauls (so far).
The managers went into overdrive between Gameweeks 11 and 14, where the Egyptian scored seven goals and contributed 51 points.
As mentioned, the reverse encounter with Watford created Fantasy history. And at the end of his first spell on Merseyside, Salah was named PFA Player of the Year, also breaking Luis Suarez’s previous FPL record of 295 points.
2018/19
Next up was a Champions League winning campaign, where Liverpool finished second domestically despite collecting 97 points. This amount would win almost any other Premier League title.
Salah only pocketed a bonus point once in his first 15 matches, even though he scored seven goals and five assists. But a hat-trick against Bournemouth kicked off a lively eight-game run that included six double-figure scores.
Things then slowed down, and the Egyptian fell just short in a 5-0 win over Watford. But he secured 19 points in Gameweek 36 against Huddersfield Town.
2019/20

In a season hampered by Covid-19, Liverpool managed to win 99 points and their first league title since 1990.
Even though Salah is experiencing another decline in form in FPL, he, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are a terrible front line to face.
He started with 30 points in the first three games, then peaked with 18 at Brighton and Hove Albion. There were also several 16s at home to Watford and Southampton.
2020/21
Not wanting to rest on his laurels, Salah scored a hat-trick on the opening day when Liverpool beat Leeds 4-3.
Even more impressive was Gameweek 14 at Crystal Palace. Entered as a substitute, he came on in the 57th minute, but managed to find time to score two goals, provide an assist and contribute 16 points.
After this stunning blitz, the winger did not score in the next six games. But this ‘bad’ season still featured 22 goals and a final total of 231.
2021/22

Currently, the delights of Gameweek 1 are Salah’s specialty. This last draw came at Norwich, and the Canaries’ contest was otherwise part of a 28-point Double Gameweek.
A spectacular run between Gameweeks 3 and 17 saw him end 15 consecutive games with at least one comeback, including seven consecutive goal turnovers. The peak occurred at Old Trafford, where he scored a hat-trick, assists and scored a phenomenal 24 goals.
That means he reached 107 points by the end of Gameweek 9 – an average of just under a dozen. Oh, and Man United’s home encounter produced another 19 goals.
2022/23
In a slow start by his standards, Salah naturally delivered big on the opening weekend, away to Fulham. What felt strange was the 9-0 defeat to Bournemouth in Gameweek 4, despite playing for 90 minutes!
However, two goals in early November at Tottenham Hotspur were very popular, while two goals plus two assists came in Matchday 26 with a score of 7-0 over Man United. Sunday afternoon 21 points.
Towards the end of the season, Salah added a hat-trick of assists against Leicester City to his portfolio. This is the only time he does this.
2023/24
When he couldn’t contribute more than one assist at Chelsea in Gameweek 1, perhaps managers should have seen this as a sign of things to come.
However, it says a lot about Salah that his worst full season (to date) still saw strikes in nine of his first 10 seasons. This includes two consecutive goals against Brighton and Everton. He then equaled 16 derby points against Brentford a few weeks later, and again on New Year’s Day at home to Newcastle United.
It’s also worth noting that a hamstring injury has kept him out of action a number of times.
2024/25

So, where do we start this extraordinary and incomparable year?
A title-winning campaign that saw Salah named PFA Player of the Year and FWA Player of the Year for the third time, left jaws dropping as he claimed 12 double-figure catches in his first 18 games. No one has reached this number in all of 2023/24, 2022/23, or 2021/22.
The most ludicrous was Match Week 8 to 19. A period of 11 games, 22 comebacks and 140 points, Salah’s captaincy was vivid and, one could say, trite. His 21-point shooting at Spurs saw him have 15 goals and 11 assists on Christmas.
Not only did he break his own tally record of 303, but it was achieved at the end of Gameweek 28.
2025/26 (in Matchday 31)
But his performance declined over the next nine shows, something that carried over into this farewell tour.
After an average start, a combination of Salah’s public feud with Arne Slot and his absence from the Africa Cup of Nations in the winter meant he did not start a league game from Matchweek 13 to 22. Neither appearance resulted in more than 10 points.
Even so, don’t let 2025/26 dampen our memories of this true superstar.
The reason is, this news could be an extraordinary goodbye for the fourth highest goalscorer in the history of the Premier League. Nostalgic FPL managers can realize that there is still time to execute the last Salah miracle.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
