The Combined Regency League Division One Side Woodley United has confirmed the future of their manager Jordan Blake after completing ‘The Great Escape’ last season.
Kestels, who defeated Oxhey Jets 5-0 in their last match this season, was thrown out of the drop zone on the last match of the season after occupying the bottom three of the year.
The last night drama saw Woodley jumping in front of Windsor who was held 2-2 on Eversley & California.
In the end, the three parties completed in the relegation zone have been deferred, but Blake’s leadership and commitment have been valued with the news that he will remain responsible at Rivermoor next season.
In a statement on social media, the club confirmed the news: “Male First Team Manager Jordan Blake and his coaching staff are committed to the 25/26 season.”
Meanwhile Blake Tweeted: “Waiting for another season. This club has grown a lot both inside and off the field since I came in three years ago. We will continue to encourage to be better than last season.”
