Wissa + Woltemade will fight for a few minutes

While the behavior of a particular attack center poisoning what is meant to be a big summer for Newcastle United, there is a reasonable argument that buying both Yoane warned (£ 7.5 million) and Nick Woltemade (£ 7.0 million) now makes them stronger clothes.

History of Wissa

Purchased by Brentford in the summer after their own promotion, in the first few season usually brilliantly acting on both wings. However, at the beginning of Ivan Toney’s long ban, he ended 2022/23 impressively as a middle attacker.

Wissa remained there for most 2023/24, starting 29 times and scored 12, before 2024/25 which brought 185 points FPL and 19 attacks, all in the box.

As Bryan Mbeumo (£ 8.1 million) Take a kick a bee, that means that Erling Haaland (£ 14.1 million) is the only Premier League player who fixes the goal that is expected to be non-Penalty (NPXG, 18.59-see Tally below). History of Woltemade

Wissa is ready to go away to get rid of pressure from an inexperienced but interesting Woltemade.

Stuttgart saw his potential and shouted him freely last summer transfer, so this is a beautiful advantage, like Frankfurt Swabian people.

While the record is not too prominent, it requires context. First, five additional goals helped them win the DFB Cup. Second, Woltemade is a substitute for Stuttgart’s first 10 Bundesliga matches, not used five times. He is also not registered in their Champions League squad.

But the last nine months opened ‘Wolte-Messi’, as labeled with love.

Two goals from the bench to change the Union Berlin deficit on December 0-2 to victory, made him get a place on their lineup. It started 11 goals in 21 matches, including strikes in each of their last three.

He captured the Cup final opening, then became the top scorer of the European U21 championship. Also named in the UEFA tournament team, Hype Woltemade reached a new level, and Bayern Munich really wanted to buy it, seeing several offers rejected.

0.67 goals per 90 is one of the best Bundesliga tariffs, as is the 50% effort on the target. However, the size of a small sample makes it a risk signing with the club’s record fee.

How do they fit in Newcastle?

A calm finisher, Wissa has a step to deal with defenders and the ideal level of work for the tendency of her new team to press from the front.

Both Brentford and Newcastle are good at fast rest, with Magpies now adding fast Anthony Luna (£ 7.0 million) to their warehouse. Only two Premier League strikers who record more than 2024/25 balls carry (at least five meters) from Wissa, but several occasions will require a penalty area hunting.

Lot Eddie Howe scored the highest league 13 times from the open cross and, crazy for 8ft 8in assets, he outperformed everyone but Chris Wood (£ 7.7 million) for last season’s goals, the latter is often founded by Elanga.

Whereas unconventional Woltemade offers unique expertise that opposes 6ft 6th feet. In fact, only one in 17 goals last season (in all competitions) is a header. Of the 18 Bundesliga forwards who fought for at least 100 air battles, 11 had a better success rate (44.7%).

Instead, he likes to dribble and has a pleasant first touch. So don’t judge a book from the cover.

He is good at dropping in to connect the game, has a great vision and more than nine and a half.

“He has the ability to dance through players at will and only be a unique player. Of course, there are improvements that must be done in terms of retaining games, coolness in front of goal. If Eddie Howe can make this person move further in the right direction then Newcastle has very interesting players.

It might be thrilling to be watched in full flow, because the elegant ball carrier feet from Wolgy quickly capture imagination. Especially when he pulled the nutmeg.

He averaged 9.8 balls carrying per 90 last season, along with 2.56 shots playing open per 90.

Callum Wilson (£ 5.9 million) Almost not fit during the last campaign, denied Howe the opportunity to turn his vocalist.

Now, he can choose Wissa or Woltemade based on the next new Newcastle. Can they play together?

Whether it’s Wissa occasionally returning to the root of his winger or playing Woltemade between the line as a number 10 creative, there is optimism that they can pair pretty well if needed.

Two middle maincastle maintenance is combined for the last 23 goals. We will support this duo to reach at least that number collectively.

Is it worth buying at FPL?

However, such a depth may endanger both of their fantasy prospects.

Taking the number nine famous shirt, Wissa is likely to begin as a middle attacker while Woltemade adapts to his new environment, making it a decent short -term choice.

But the last is the signing of Newcastle clubs and will eventually take over, of course with Afcon’s journey that Wissa hopes. Being in the Champions League makes it difficult for more things.

The cheap FPL coverage of the top team is good, but maybe it’s still better for managers to survive Joao Pedro (£ 7.7 million), Jean-Philippe Mateta (£ 7.5 million) or Evanilson (£ 7.0 million) instead. Maybe even Chris Wood or Jarrod Bowen (£ 7.8 million), at least for now.
