TV legend Ian Smith provides a ‘extraordinary’ health update after being told that he will die | Soap

The legend of neighboring Ian Smith said he ‘opposed the opportunity’ after being diagnosed with cancer that could be cured.

Ian originally appeared in the Aussie series between 1987 and 1991, returned for further task between 1996 and 2009 when it was discovered that Harold did not die after being swept into the sea.

He continued to make guests’ performances for the next 13 years, before being welcomed again semi-regularly last year.

In December, actor, 87, said that the doctor hoped he died after his diagnosis with a rare form of disease – known as pulmonary pleomorphic carcinoma.

He confirmed that at that time he had undergone three rounds of chemotherapy, after ‘raising his hand to become an experimental rabbit’ because he wanted to ‘stay alive with quality’ as long as he could.

The soap legend then renewed fans, revealed that his treatment seemed to work because he was told that he should have died in March ‘ – and thus he seems to be’ opposed to opportunities’.

Ian Smith is open to more work after ‘extraordinary results’

Ian has now told The Herald Sun that the diagnosis continues to confuse medical professionals, who do not have an explanation of how well he responds to pree.

‘[The cancer] Has come out and immunotherapy store it there and my markers are the same for the last three treatments, ‘he said.

‘[The medial team] Don’t know why I have this extraordinary result, they can’t tell me why I don’t give up on cancer. ‘

Despite taking a step back from neighbors earlier this year, Ian is now more determined to continue working than before.

“I have told some people who are very smart that I want to finish my career on the stage,” he continued.

‘Isn’t it better if I get a small part in the stage game?’

Out of Harold Bishop is ‘perfect mixture’

After Ian’s diagnosis, a story came out in a hurry, with former co-star Anne Charleston was introduced as a woman who showed off a striking similarity with the late Harold Madge’s wife.

It was confirmed that he was a cousin far from the Husky -sounded icon, but Harold felt too difficult to live beside him.

In April, he packaged his bag and moved to Queensland to live with family after an emotional farewell party at Ramsay Street and a number of flashbacks.

He and Agnes even walked to No. 24, where Harold lives for years with Madge.

In short, for viewers, Ian filmed the additional last scene, which aired the following month.

After deciding to focus on the release of his first book, Agnes headed to visit Harold and get his advice. He was worried that he would not be happy to see him arrive at the door, but what surprised him, he welcomed him with his arms open.

In a naughty nod in the theme of the opening theme of the event icon, he said that he had just turned on the kettle – and had a ‘perfect mix’ to accompany him.

Can Harold return to the neighbor’s final?

A number of familiar faces are being arranged for the last episode ever, which is caused by air in December – However Not yet known whether Ian will make a cameo.
