After a long telephone call with Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump has warned that the Russian leader planned revenge for the Ukraine weekend drone attack.

Trump took to the social platform of his truth to share the details of the call, which lasted about one hour and 15 minutes and covered Ukraine’s brave strike on an aircraft anchored in Russia.

“I just finished talking, by telephone, with President Vladimir Putin, from Russia,” Trump wrote at the post which has since been deleted.

“That is a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to direct peace.”

Trump added that ‘President Putin said, and was very strong, that he had to respond to a new attack on the air field’.

The US president did not say if he pushed back Putin’s intention to reply to the attack.

Ukraine arranged the ‘Pearl Harbor’ level attack which destroyed more than one third of Russian fighter aircraft in a few minutes on Sunday.

Trump’s post, which was distributed by the White House on Wednesday afternoon, including details about other problems discussed by leaders.
