Thomas Frank is facing calls to be sacked following Tottenham’s 2-1 home defeat against struggling West Ham.
Fans lashed out at the under fire former Brentford boss and chanted ‘you’ll be sacked tomorrow morning’ after Callum Wilson scored a late winner for relegation-threatened West Ham in a 2-1 win.
The pressure on Frank had been mounting following Aston Villa’s FA Cup exit which extended their poor run of form, but the arrival of Conor Gallagher in midweek provided a much-needed boost for the under-pressure Dane.
Former Chelsea star Gallagher was immediately included in the squad but his new team fell behind in the 15th minute following Crysencio Summerville’s deflected effort.
Cristiano Romero looked to have at least got a point when he equalized in the 64th minute, but Callum Wilson added time on to add pressure on the beleaguered Franks.
Current Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has been named the favourite, just 24 hours after he declared his intention to leave Selhurst Park at the end of the season.
The highly-rated Austrian, who is tipped to take over at Manchester United as the club’s next permanent boss, guided the Eagles to FA Cup success last season, but is yet to agree a contract extension at Selhurst Park.

Glasner, 51, arrived at Palace in 2024, having won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt.
“My decision was made months ago,” Glasner said at a news conference.
“I had a meeting (with Steve Parish) in the international break in October, we had dinner and had a very long talk and I told him I wasn’t going to sign a new contract for Crystal Palace.
‘We agreed then that it was best to keep it between us, this is how secret we work together, so we could keep it between us for three months.’
Glasner was pleased to be able to give everyone at the club ‘clarity’ on moving forward, and the Palace boss also confirmed captain Marc Guehi is in the ‘final stages’ of completing his move to Manchester City.
Glasner added: ‘I said the same thing to the team today, because I think it’s important to get clarity, because I don’t want this to be directed at the players and ‘what happened?’.
‘We have a very busy schedule, that’s why we don’t want to say it’s just because we want the same thing, Steve and I, we want the best for Crystal Palace.’
