Ascot United and Maidenhead United both fell to be defeated on the opening day of the FA 2025/26 Women’s National League.
Yellas made the club’s history playing their first match on Tier 4 when they headed to Bristol Rovers falling into a narrow 1-0 defeat after the second half attack from Maisy Collis sent them back to Berkshire without points
Maidenhead also found themselves at the end of the defeat after traveling to Swindones Town with Macey-Nikiah Walters who opened their accounts for Magpies to damage the clean sheet for the host who scored four of them themselves.
Furthermore, Maidenhead hosted Actonians at home on Wednesday night and Ascot welcomed Moneyfields to Racecourse on Tuesday, both of them in the Fawnl Cup match because they both searched for the first victory of the 2025/26 season.
