Gameweek 25 Scout Notes continues Bournemouth 1-1 Aston Villa And Burnley 0-2 West Ham United.
RAYAN’S SCORE ON THE FIRST START
RYAN (£5.5m) scored in his first start for Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Brazilian, who appeared as a substitute with an assist at Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, looks a real threat.
Rayan was unlucky in the first half when his header hit the crossbar, but he then scored with an impressive solo effort after Villa’s defending fell apart.
“He is an extraordinary player. He can get in and out when there is space, and he can play one-on-one against defenders and that is very difficult for defenders. He finishes very well. He is still a young player who needs to improve some things.” – Andoni Iraola about Rayan
Far from Rayan, just a look inspired by Emiliano Martinez (£5.0m), who made seven saves and should get an extra bonus point in the next update, denying Bournemouth three points.
On another day, Eli Kroupi Jr (£4.7) could have been dragged off: he had a goal disallowed for offside, and another cleared off the line, before he withdrew as usual shortly after the hour mark.
SEVEN OTHER HILL POINTERS
James Hill (£3.9m), meanwhile, continued his fine form at centre-back.
He provided the assist for Rayan’s equalizer (which, to be fair, was a simple pass to the Brazilian) and provided a defensive contribution point (DefCon).
Mark Senesi (£4.8m) is of course the Premier League’s leading defender, but was absent on Saturdays (six), while Hill has now produced a DefCon in six of his seven games since being recalled to the team.
He was also unlucky not to get any DefCon points in Gameweek 22; Opta updated the total to 10 after the FPL limit.
Given the upcoming Bournemouth game, Hill is clearly one of the standout options in FPL for under £4.0m at the moment.

ROGER “FANTASTIC”.
Morgan Rogers (£7.6m) scored the opener at the Vitaly Stadium with a beautiful strike into the roof of the net, after being tucked in by Jadon Sancho (£5.8 million).
He claimed the maximum bonus for a 10-point tally and only barely missed out at DefCon, with 11 points.
“Fantastic. He’s had a fantastic season. He always puts pressure, helps. Everyone feels good playing with him.” – Unai Emery on Morgan Rogers
But just 0.79 expected goals (xG) for Villa underlines their recent lack of attacking threat.
It’s true, Unai Emery’s men have scored just three goals in their last five games, and created just nine Opta ‘big chances’ during that period.
GOALKEEPER £4.2M STARTING
Nuno Espirito Santo made three changes to his starting XI for Saturday’s trip to Burnley.
Mads Hermansen (£4.2m) substitute Alphonse Areola (£4.3 million) in goal, Axel Disasi (£4.5m) made his debut at centre-back, while the third change came in attack, where Callum Wilson (£5.8 million) replaced Pablo Felipe (£5.5 million).
In the field, it looks like this:

Hermansen and Disasi helped provide a bit of solidity at the back, although only against Burnley, which helped West Ham produce their first clean sheet since Gameweek 3.
£4.2m goalkeeper Hermansen is one of the goalkeepers for both of them.
Elsewhere behind, El Hadji Malick Diouf (£4.0m) provided a first-half assist, while his fellow player defended Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.1 million) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (£4.4m) both banked on DefCon.
SUMMERVILLE GOALS AGAIN, FERNANDES IMPRESSED
Crysencio Summerville (£5.5m) scored for the fifth game in a row in all competitions on Saturday.
The in-form winger headed the ball past Burnley’s Martin Dubravka (£4.0m) at the start of the first half, earlier Taty Castellanos (£5.5m) doubled West Ham’s lead shortly afterwards.
Summerville will likely lose its DefCon points in the next update, dropping to 11 overnight (see image below). However, even taking that into account, he’s still put up 36 points over the last four Gameweeks, the second-most of any player.

Matthew Fernandes (£5.5m) was also outstanding at Turf Moor.
The midfield controller produced the assist for the opening goal, his third attacking return in four Gameweeks, and deflected DefCon, with his on-field connection with Summerville clearly going from strength to strength.
“I know how dangerous we are on the counter-attack, and so do Matty and I [Fernandes] lots of clicking now. He knows how to feed me, and it worked well today.” – Crysencio Summerville
As for Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m), it was a disappointing afternoon, with just one shot and no chances created. But along with other players improving, the Hammers have now won three of their last four games, keeping the relegation battle alive.
In contrast, the situation for Burnley is less favorable, as they look fragile ahead of the visit to Selhurst Park on Tuesday.
Zian Fleming (£5.3m) has scored more goals than any team-mate, with seven shots, but Burnley have now failed to win in 16 consecutive Premier League games.
Axel Tuanzebe (£3.9m) is out through injury for the hosts, meanwhile James Ward-Prowse (£5.6m) is ineligible to face his parent club.
