Windsor FC will not take part in senior men’s football during the 2025/26 season, the joint soccer league has revealed.
In a statement released on social media, the club – which was groundshare at Beaconsfield Town on Buckinghamshire – had withdrawn from the competition.
It has been recorded by football in Berkshire that the club has not entered the competition this season when the equipment was released two weeks ago.
A complete statement reveals that the club concentrates on the new land development project:
Windsor FC is interesting from the league for the 2025-2026 season
Today’s league has received formal notification from Windsor FC who confirmed their withdrawal from the competition for the 2025-2026 season.
The club has suggested that this decision is part of a strategic change, because they focus their efforts and resources on the ambitious new land development project. This initiative is intended to strengthen the club’s long -term foundation and support future growth and sustainability.
The league recognizes a significant work that has been done to prepare a list of equipment after the release of delayed equipment for step 4 and above. While the withdrawal of Windsor FC will cause some disturbances, we work hard to complete the revised schedule and hope to release equipment outside the opening week immediately.
We thank all clubs and supporters for their patience and understanding at this time.

The statement was distributed on Wednesday, July 23 and marked the end of the famous Union Jack shirt, at least for the following season. It should be noted, Windsor FC is a different club with Windsor & Eton FC who plays in the North Jakarta joint league premiere division.
Windsor finished last season in the 21st position after the last day of this season when they were jumped over by Woodley United. Windsor finally received a suspension of punishment from relegation together with the increase in Ballers Kensington and FC Deportivo Galicia.
Windsor’s withdrawal news will mean the largest step 6 division in the country will now run with 23 teams than 24.
