Shooting near California Mall injuries to officers while manhunt is taking place | Our news

A shooting broken near an outdoor mall in Santa Monica, California, injured a police officer and started the hunt.

The shot erupted at Santa Monica Place near the 3rd Promenade Street on Wednesday afternoon.

The injured officer was taken to the nearest hospital.

It is not clear whether the officer was shot, or the nature of injury.

“The suspect is still free, and the coordinated search is ongoing,” said Santa Monica Police Department.

“This remains a developing situation,” said the Police Department.

“We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the community when we work to ensure the safety of everyone involved.”

The police have urged the community to avoid the regions in the center of Santa Monica City.
