Thank you very much to everyone who took the time to reply to my T&J form from last week.
As a general manager of Scout, it is very important to me that we act based on the views of our members and that we are trying to make changes based on the demands of the audience.
Things that you like
The feedback that you give highlights a lot of fantastic things that happen here on scout.
Praise for editorial articles on the site is extraordinary. It is clear that what Neale, Tom, Marc and other team members did were hit all the right notes.
I think the article is structured brilliantly, and I like their consistent attention to details while also really fun to read and often funny. When I need a break from work, FFS is my place!
Editorial content (the quality of writing some of the best around IMO), Ticker Fixture, RMT, RMT Operation with Tom, (likes to transfer in the application as well).
Tom operation on (usually) Friday afternoon and the Neale team update on Thursday/Friday with a rolling press conference.
There is also a lot of love for content makers that we do, applications, Sensible captains and the Ticker season.
Answer your question
I have a number of great questions on my form. I have tried to answer this here but don’t hesitate to contact if you want to discuss more things.
You are right: there is a correct content -really limited available around many other games. On our sister site, Fantasy Football Community, we are trying to discuss as many popular games as possible. We historically have not discussed WSL games but that is something that makes our community and partnership manager, Tom, very excited. If there is a request, we can definitely search to add this to our offer for the new season.
The upvote system helps us manage warm topics for this site. I really understand your frustration here. The comment section is something we see as a team. We want to make changes here to make it a better user experience and if you have ideas in this field, don’t hesitate to send me an email and we can discuss!
Why does the website still have a message that says “V2 Member Area is almost arrived” – Isn’t this alive for two years now?
Why are all links from the veranda still directly to the old member area? I tend to still use this just because that’s where the link takes me. Also, I prefer the appearance and nuances of old fixture ticket, but isn’t it easier to have one area to be maintained?
There are several questions in this area, so I have grouped them together.
The area of Beta members is a project that we worked on a few seasons ago and we have played since then. However, we have never been really happy with the new version of this site and even as staff we tend to use the old one. This clearly tells us something and we have worked to fix it in development.
You are right: it will be much easier to maintain only one. But the way technology works means there are several obstacles to make it happen. However, we are in the process of running several large updates to the member area. Some of them will be available for the start of the new season, others will enter during the campaign. This season will be a big year for the member area and user experience there. For the new season, there will only be one member area and all links will take you to the same place. I think you will really like the appearance and feel of the new ticket! Watch this room!
We are always ready for new ideas!
We already have a head-to-head league on the site, which may not be realized by some users. We will specify how to join for the new season in the next two months.
Yes of course. The speed of the site and the loading time in some parts of the member area is something that is currently being done by the technology team today. I have put this back directly to the team so they can see these pages specifically.
The price you pay when you register will be your price for life for a premium membership. We want to appreciate the loyalty of our members who join and remain part of the fantastic community that we have built. During your membership, it will only get a better value of money because we add new tools and resources, as well as additional games and content!
Thank You! My team is an extraordinary group of people who work tirelessly to improve the content and experience of the user on the spot. While negativity can frustrate, we try to channel it in a positive way. People pay money for a service and have the right to provide feedback, which we want to do. I encourage that they do this via email support (support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk), like that will be seen by the right person and we can try to make improvements. In the comments section, especially in a busy period, things can be missed.
This is a good question! There is a balance that can be obtained between Clickbait articles that regarding the algorithm and will help us grow, and diving articles that we all love to scout. We have a plan and meet as a team for further planning weeks in June to ensure that we can succeed in maintaining who we are, and not only compete but become the best offer, as we always do.
Things you want to see
This is the part of the form that I want to see the most.
As a team, we have made a long list of things we want for the new season. Some of these suggestions are reece features and have been busy building on Dev for several months now.
Others are videos, articles and new resources planned by different teams for the new season. However, user experience is something that every day we try to improve and as far as we can, we will try to turn your desires into reality.

The good news is that many things in the desire list are things that we have done. I have added all your ideas to the sheets, which as the team we will discuss at our meeting in June. You have to see many of these things appear on scouts for a new campaign!
Thank You
Thank you very much to everyone who took the time to reply to my questions and answers. This is something I plan to run two months throughout the year. This is so that we can ensure that we improve the situation.
I always like to chat about your ideas or answer any questions you might have at a later time, so please contact support@fantasyfootballscout.co.ukLai
