Liam and Chas’ decision in Emmerdale as they both hide a big secret | soap

Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) have made quite a solid pair in Emmerdale. They’ve faced a lot of drama personally and together, but still seem to stick together and come out stronger on the other side.

Liam and Chas realized they had a romantic relationship in 2023, but things didn’t go that far as Chas was soon diagnosed with breast cancer. He is grateful for Liam’s support throughout this process, but still keeps him as a friend.

The arrival of Ella Forster (Paula Lane) makes Liam start a relationship with her. They get along well, but she can’t forget Chas. This ultimately leads to Liam dumping Ella for Chas.

In February this year, Liam decided to propose. The romantic action took place in a limousine driven by Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). Moments later, he is forced to swerve to avoid hitting a drugged Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), and ends up crashing his vehicle into a frozen lake.

Among other residents, Liam and Chas are forced to walk carefully on the ice. A life-threatening situation makes Liam and Chas realize how much they love each other.

They are now engaged, but the drama that arose while living in the village means that the wedding has not been planned.

It’s clear that they’re both hiding secrets but when they want to confide in each other, they choose to keep them to themselves.

It’s not exactly clear what secrets Liam and Chas are thinking, but we do know that Chas is aware Ross Barton (Michael Parr) is the father of Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) baby, while Liam knows villain Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) isn’t as bad as he’s making out.
