Follow-up from Lego Builder’s Journey is only a co-op game in the Split fiction style and it takes two but will it prove as a big hit?
There is new courage among the developers to just make a co-op game. However, this is a proposition that is a bit risk of considering the innate challenge to find other humans who want to play the same game as you, at the exact same time. One way to help it is to provide local cooperatives, the theory is that flat friends or family members are more likely to share tastes and schedules.
Lego Voyagers Default to a local co-op, but to protect the bet value also offers free friends, such as split fiction, so you can play against your friends, even if they don’t have a copy of the game itself. This is a little less useful than sitting on the same couch but is still a fun way to socialize when playing games. It’s not that you will have plenty of time for idle chat, considering the need to continue to collaborate to achieve goals.
The first game developer Light Brick Studio is Lego Builder’s Journey. Initially released at Apple Arcade, Porting to PC and console two years later and is a beautiful and meditative single player puzzle game that is actively designed to relax only piercing with puzzles that seem at least as important as completing it.
You can feel the same spirit in Lego Voyagers, other fun and unleashed games, but this time for two players. Each of you controls a lego block, eroding it around the LEGO landscape that looks beautiful, many of which have the appearance of fake industries, with water flowing through them, which spread their architecture into the real world.
This game is also rooted in authentic feelings of physics. You can imagine rolling a lego brick, its almost cubic shape makes its progress shaky and unpredictable, such as trying to lead rugby balls with your feet. This gives your interaction with the intentional world of nuances, because you are awkward to hit your next goal. With the two of you do it, there is an inherent slapstick that only moves around that place.
To add to the impression of maintaining pleasure just for it, you will find all kinds of things to play that do not have a material impact on any puzzles. There is a roundabout to spin, a small rocket to throw, the lego flowers that appear in the air when you approach, and various other small disturbances. You can also make fun of each other.

There are often times when one player needs to trigger a switch, throwing the other to a distant platform or just keeping the surface of the surface while the others walk across. If you are in the right mood, or recently this has controlled yourself, there is a temptation that often dipped other players in the water or turning the one second floor too quickly.
In accordance with the generous taste of the game, nothing really makes you come back. Falling from the platform or into the inner water that you will restantana instantly, right where you fall, making every mistake smaller. When you staggered along the brick wide edge or repeatedly disrupted a series of hops in the abyss, you have only arranged one or two seconds, helping to avoid accusations when it happened several times in a row.
Beautiful and ambient synth tones that accompany you to confuse you adding to the atmosphere, encouraging you to mess up rather than running to the next destination. Many puzzles are also built around the idea of trying things to see what is successful, because you will build many tilted bridges and set of stairs from an incompatible brick.
There are a few extraordinary minutes where you both have to drive the boat, one of you controls the left engine, and the other right. The steering requires communication but also spatial awareness when you try and do what effectively controls the tank, with one player manages each joystick. At times like this, small quarrels broke out but given how a little mistake, the process tends to remain light-hearted safely.
Presented on one screen, with the two players seen at any time, there is a real sense of togetherness, although the same perspective makes some of the challenges of the platform more frustrated than they should. To help fix it, you can knock the button to be clamped to the nearest Lego brick available, making a series of long jumps rather less annoying.
When you work through the LEGO landscape, you will find puzzles in stages adding complexity and require more play -playing before you can open the gate to the next chapter. And then the game ends, just like starting to demand real thoughts and involvement. Keeping things clearly a deliberate design choice, but you cannot be separated from the feeling that it ends prematurely.
Whether you agree or not with a Light Brick decision to maintain a low level of difficulty, Lego Voyagers is a pleasant experience. This is much smaller and less involved than hazelight fiction and needs two, but apart from two players have only a little similarity with the game. However, for smaller children, or anyone who enjoys a more calm and more contemplative speed, the legos actors are four hours of very peaceful mutual exploration.
