Vocalist Aerosmith and Rock Legend ‘N’ Roll Steven Tyler might not want to ‘miss one thing,’ but when it comes to tour with his band, it’s a different story.
According to his band friend Joe Perry, Tyler, 77, ‘Don’t want to tour and can’t tour.’
Only last month, the icon guitarist of the legendary rock band suggested that the victory of live returns could be on the horizon, but the Wahyunya has now caused concerns about the future band tour.
It seems that Tyler’s vocal injury is severe, which includes cracked larynx and damaged vocal cords, can be understood as a big factor.
The big tour naturally demands, but Perry has not fully rejected the idea of a lasting farewell show, hinting that it can be part of the upcoming documentary film that is being discussed by the band at this time.
He told the Boston Wbur radio station: ‘I dare bet that there is an Aerosmith event left.
‘There is a talk about doing a documentary; That might be a part of that. I have spent a lot of time with Steven and he doesn’t want to tour, and he can’t do a tour. ‘
Perry admitted that it was difficult and added, ‘I’m not sure I want to go out and order a tour of 40 other cities. This is far to the top and lives there takes him out of you, especially the Aerosmith tour. ‘
Formed in Boston in 1970, supporters of rock music not only built an extraordinary tour inheritance, but they also dominated the charts with 21 hit Top 40 in the US and 14 in the UK, including their iconic collaboration with Run DMC on Walk This Way.
The band’s last live show lasted during their Peace Out tour, which began in 2023, but ended after only three shows.
During the appearance at Batang Batang Siriusxm with Eddie Trunk in July, Perry, 74, honestly recognized that the tour became far more demanding, acknowledging: ‘We are not young men anymore.’
His comments came in response to the question of whether Aerosmith fans could hope to see the band back on stage again, adding that: ‘Well, yes, I always hope, but going on the road, it is a big problem that unites it. There are so many plans, and what is needed from you physically, it is far more than what people realize.
‘This is one thing when you do it when you are 25 or 30 years old, but that is something else when you start climbing there like us. This is a very physical thing, out on the stage. ‘
Even though it is clear that the full global tour might make this music legend on the edge, maybe the show once can be on the card?
The songwriter Love in Elevator believes that Tyler will be able to sing a full concert again ‘if he can regain strength in his voice, which will become music in the ears of millions of Aerosmith fans around the world.
He said: ‘You know, I think he will do it. I think it’s just a problem until there, you know? I mean, this is like, you know, I mean, we are up there, friends. I have enough in me. I still want to do it [a final Aerosmith show]… So, we will see what happened. ‘
Aerosmith officially announced their retirement from a tour in August 2024, quoting the ‘impossibility’ of full recovery for voken voken vocal cable injury Steven Tyler.
The band’s statement reads: ‘As you know, Steven’s voice is an instrument that is not like the others. He had spent months tirelessly working to bring his voice to the place before injury. We have seen him struggle despite having the best medical team by his side.
‘Unfortunately, it is clear that the full recovery from the vocal injury is impossible. We have made a heartbreaking and difficult decision, but necessary, as a group of brothers and sisters from the tour stage. ‘
However, even though the band experienced hiatus, both Perry and Tyler were busy pursuing other projects with Perry Tour with their group The Joe Perry Project and Steven sang at the Janie Dana charity event at the beginning of the year.
Since then, they have played several special shows. In February, Tyler returned to the stage for charity events, doing classic aerosmiths such as walk this way, dream on, and sweet emotions. This was attended by another charity event in April, where Tyler and Perry reunited on the stage for the first time in two years.
