You may have heard of the ‘Immediate Goals’ table that Joe loves so much. You can listen to his and Marc’s Fantasy Football Scout podcast of the same name. Now, Immediate Goals are here in article form!
Ahead of Gameweek 13 of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), these Members Area statistics identify a few things underachieving players who look ‘due’ to score goals and/or assists.
Of course, we’ll try to judge whether they’re unlucky, experiencing rare errors, or just not that good.
LAST WEEK’S SUCCESS
Appearing at both tables, having done everything but come back in recent weeks, Enzo Fernandez (£6.7m) finally provided relief to more than 1.6m managers by scoring against Burnley.
As expected, Fulham Raul Jimenez (£6.2m) did score past Sunderland, maintaining some good form.
And even if it’s neither Bruno Guimaraes (£6.6m) neither Dango Ouattara (£6.0m) score a goal, they provide a pass to a teammate. In fact, Guimaraes did it twice in scoring 10 points.
Be better than suggested, Marcus Tavernier (£5.5m) produced goals, not assists. He converted the penalty in the absence of Bournemouth’s usual ball-takers.
IMMEDIATE GOALS
The first table shows the accumulated players at least nine shots over the last four Gameweeks, but scored a goal no more than one goal.
