A rapper and armed robber who escaped from prison is back to boasting about his freedom, taunting police with a new rap ‘Catch me if you can’.
Daniel Boakye, 21, who is also known by the rap name DSAVV, fled from police at Lewisham University Hospital for the second time last Sunday.
In a video posted on social media, a young man who claims to be a rapper again taunts police who failed to find him a week after he escaped from prison.
Sitting in a chair in a dark room, the attention seeker boasted: ‘I’m the man, I’m the boss of England.
‘Did it twice now they think I’m crazy.

“On my side we have weapons from Ukraine. Catch me if you can, I’m on the way to the plane.”
‘I’m a magician who likes to come out of space.’
While police may have been frustrated by the video, hip-hop fans were less impressed.
One commented: ‘He would be the biggest legend in British Rap history if he could rap well’.
On Wednesday, he posted a video with an article about Boakye’s escape from prison shown on TV in the background while the young man rapped.
‘I just got out of prison like Modie, fuck the government, they’re fake,’ he said.
‘Prison escape, damn – fuck these cops. On the street, I’m a legend like Toby, but I won’t go wrong like Kobe.’
Boakye is known to have links to the London gang OFB – Original Farm Boys – which is based in the Broadwater Farm area of Tottenham.
He was known for his lyrics boasting of committing knife crimes, in one rap he said: ‘Man stick his calf in his socket. You should have seen the way he ran, that muppet.
‘Still caught him and I hit the muppet. Crime scene juice spilled like a bucket.’
When he was in prison he had many fans calling for his release.
Between June 2021 and January 2022, Boakye and three other teenagers participated in a series of robberies and attempted robberies across London, Essex Live reported.
Armed with knives, they forced victims to hand over their phones and provided passcodes to unlock them.
The group then transferred the victims’ cryptocurrency to ‘hot wallets’, stealing a total of more than £115,000.
They also use stored bank details to purchase top-up cards, pay taxi fares and complete other fraudulent transactions.
The gang was only arrested after detectives identified their home address from a takeaway order they paid for using stolen bank details.
A Met spokesperson said: ‘We are looking for a 21-year-old man who escaped from Lewisham hospital at around 3.05pm on Sunday, February 15.
‘Daniel Boakye was in police custody in hospital receiving medical treatment when he escaped. Officers gave chase but were unable to detain Boakye before he left the building.
‘He is 21 years old, black, of medium height and slim build. He was wearing gray sweatpants and a dark Nike jacket when he fled.
He added: ‘We are reviewing this incident to fully understand the events that occurred.
‘The Met’s Professional Standards Directorate is aware of it.’
