We’ve put together an early draft of our Scout Picks for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 24.
We will complete our weekly selection closer to the Saturday deadline.
The upcoming Scout Troop Nominations, as well as the pre-game press conference, will help shape our final Scout Picks.
But these ‘bus teams’ at least give an idea of the players and teams that will be considered.
As usual, there are certain limitations to our squad:
- Budget £83.0m for our starting XI
- The overall squad cap is £100.0 million
- No more than three players per team
MATCH WEEK 24 GAME
Gameweek 24 matches are ranked by difficulty in our Season Markers.
YOUTH’S POSSIBILITIES

Fresh off impressive wins over Manchester City and Arsenal, Michael Carrick’s Manchester United have an easier game on paper in Matchday 24.
Fulham have only kept one clean sheet away from home in the 2025/26 season.
They also lost every game when playing against teams at the top of the standings away from home.

Of course, the onus is on United to create chances on Sunday, a task they often face. Even so, you will come back Bruno Fernandes (£9.4m) against any current team. Playmaker is the current leader of Captain Poll. He’s also tallied 22 points since returning from injury in Gameweek 21 – that’s better than anyone mentioned in this article.
If we decide to add a second United striker, we will consider it Bryan Mbeumo (£8.3 million) and Matheus Cunha (£8.0 million).
With potential attack threats and defense contributions (DefCon), Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.9 million) and Nordi Mukiele (£4.5m) is a clear starting spot in the back line.
Leeds United are no pushovers, having impressed again against Everton on Monday, but Gabriel is clearly the right choice.
As for Sunderland, the Burnley team who are ranked 20th for expected goals (xG) visit the Stadium of Light in Gameweek 24.

Forward representation from Arsenal and Sunderland is also possible.
Bukayo Saka (£10.1 million) and Declan Rice (£7.4m) is leading the charge at Arsenal. While Saka has a superior attacking threat, both players have set pieces in their locker. You’d think Rice would also take part in the DefCons at Elland Road.
It is also important to mention that no player in any position has collected more points (Tot) than Rice away from home in 2025/26:

Above: Players ranked by FPL points – away games only
At Sunderland, Enzo Le Cost (£4.9 million) and Brian Brobbey (£5.5m) both have budget appeal.
Le Fee is averaging 5.4 points per start at home this season, and Burnley are conceding a lot of key passes in the half. As for Brobbey, he is in fine form, with three goals in four Gameweeks.
Elsewhere, you might expect Chelsea to feature high on G-Whizz’s list of clean sheet chances, so they could give us a defensive option. We have Robert Sanchez (£4.9m) in our ‘bus team’, with its status an important factor.
Further ahead, Enzo Fernandez (£6.7 million) and Joao PedroHis performance (£7.2m) was hard to ignore against a West Ham United side who failed to keep a clean sheet under Nuno Espirito Santo. Enzo has produced 35 points over the last five Gameweeks, the most of any FPL midfielder, while Joao Pedro produced a season-high 15 points in the previous meeting between the two teams.
Cole Palmer (£10.4 million) and Liam Delap (£6.2m) could be considered later this week, depending on their xMins.
In north London, Antoine Semenyo (£7.8m) is again ineligible for Champions League duty this week, so will definitely get a start.
A glaring omission from the ‘bus team’ is, of course, his Manchester City team-mates Erling Haaland (£15.1 million). The Norwegian last scored against Brighton and Hove Albion from the penalty spot in Gameweek 21, but has not scored from open play since December. We will reassess the situation after tomorrow’s Champions League game against Galatasaray, but the budget may play a role in the final decision on Friday.
Meanwhile, Morgan Rogers (£7.7 million) and Ollie Watkins (£8.8m) had a strong case this week. Rogers has now scored six goals and three assists in his last 12 games, while Watkins has returned in four of his previous five meetings with former club Brentford.
Bournemouth have scored more goals than any other team since Matchday 16 and visit bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers, a DefCon magnet Mark Senesi (£4.8 million) and Evanilson (£7.0m) is definitely worth mentioning.
If we decide to look elsewhere in defense, there are many other options, such as Jan Paul van Hecke (£4.5 million), Matty Cash (£4.8 million), Luke Shaw (£4.5 million), Nikola Milenkovic (£5.1 million) and Neco Williams (£4.7 million).
LONGER SHOT

Liverpool will face Newcastle United in Matchday 24, so it’s hard to make too many excuses Mohamed Salah (£14.0 million), Florian Wirtz (£8.3 million) or Hugo Ekitike (£8.8 million). They have looked dull in front of goal of late, with just five goals in as many games.
In other places, it might be a tough ask for that Morgan Gibbs-White (£7.3 million), Harry Wilson (£6.0 million), Ismail Sarr (£6.3 million), Jarrod Bowen (£7.6 million) or Igor Thiago (£7.2m) to force his way past others.
Finally, Yerson Mosque (£4.3 million) and Matoe from Manne (£4.5 million) may still cross our minds when hosting Bournemouth. A bench role may feel more likely.
