FA Cup Second Round Exactly – Date, draw and who’s in

The 2025/26 FA Cup Third Round Proper Draw will take place on the Monday after the weekend’s Second Round matches have finished.

There are three exciting fixtures in the FA Cup Second Round with Maidenhead United and Bracknell Town given away days in the spa town, while Slough Town host Gloucester City at Arbor Park.

The Robins head to Bath City while the Magpies head to Leamington.

Who is taking part in the FA Cup Third Round Proper draw?

The FA Cup Third Round marks the last 64 of the competition and will also feature the National League’s top teams for the first time this season – including reigning champions Aldershot Town.

The full list of National League teams entered is Aldershot Town, Altrincham, Boreham Wood, Boston United, Brackley Town, Braintree Town, Carlisle United, Eastleigh, FC Halifax Town, Forest Green Rovers, Gateshead, Hartlepool United, Morecambe, Rochdale AFC, Scunthorpe United, Solihull Moors, Southend United, Sutton United, Tamworth, Truro City, Wealdstone, Woking, Yeovil Town and York City.

Currently Bracknell Town, Maidenhead United and Slough Town are all ‘preparing’ for the FA Cup Third Round draw.

When is the FA Cup Third Round Draw Exactly?

The FA has confirmed the FA Cup Third Round Proper draw will be broadcast live on talkSPORT2 radio on Monday 17 November. It will take place at around 3.15pm and is split into northern and southern sections, involving a total of 64 clubs and 32 draws.

When will the Third Round matches be played, and how much prize money is on offer?

The FA Cup Third Round Match Match will take place on the weekend of Saturday 13 December 2025. Full details of the round dates are here.

The prize money on offer to the winner of an FA Cup Third Round tie is £4,500, and the losing side receives £1,250.
