Everything you need to know about the 25/26 FA Vase Second Round Draw

The 2025/26 FA Vase Second Round Proper Draw will take place on Tuesday after the weekend’s Second Qualifying Round matches have concluded.

There are seven games involving seven Berkshire teams during the First Round at the weekend, including 2018 winners Thatcham Town who travel to Balham.

Three Berkshire teams begin their campaigns having advanced to the First Round after reaching the Third Round last season. The teams are Burnham, Tadley Calleva and Windsor & Eton.

Who is taking part in the FA Vase Second Round Proper draw?

25 teams have been excluded until the Second Round of the FA Vase after reaching the Fourth Round in 2024/25, including holders Whitstable Town, Jersey Bulls, and Combined Nations League sides, North Greenford United and Hilltop.

The full list of 25 teams that will take part in the Second Round are: Ashby Ivanhoe, Blyth Town, Bridgwater United, Brixham AFC, Charnock Richard, Cobham, Great Wakering Rovers, Hallam, Hamworthy Recreation, Hartpury University, Highworth Town, Hilltop, Holmesdale, Jersey Bulls, Lichfield City, Lincoln United, North Greenford United, Romford, Silsden, South Liverpool, Stanway Pegasus, Stourport Swifts, Walsham Le Willows, Whickham and Whitchurch Alport.

Currently and depending on the results in the First Round, AFC Aldermaston, Berks County, Reading City, Thatcham Town and Windsor & Eton are all ‘preparing’ for the FA Vase Second Round draw.

The FA has confirmed the FA Vase Second Round Proper draw will be released at 1pm on Monday 20 October.

The prize money on offer to the winner in the FA Vase Second Round match is £900 with the losing side receiving £275.
