Bracknell Town have signed Bailey Lamb from Ascot United as manager Matthew Saunders reshapes his squad this month.
Centre-back Lamb made 11 appearances for Yellas this season in the Isthmian League South Central Division One after joining in the summer. He previously played for Harrow Borough and Southall.
He is the second Yellas player to top the pyramid in recent weeks after Cheick Sylla joined Bracknell’s divisional rivals Basingstoke Town.
A social media post from the club read: βIt’s two lads with the ambition to play at the highest level, who have been in brilliant form this season!β
Gavin Smith’s side have gone from strength to strength, boosting Basingstoke themselves for ππ¨ππ₯ ππ¨π₯π₯π’π§π¬π¨π§. The right winger has recent experience with Weymouth, Farnham Town and Bracknell.
Meanwhile the Robins, as we mentioned here have seen several players leave including long-serving goalkeeper Michael Eacott. Boss Saunders has brought in left-back Konstantin Ivanov to join permanently from Brentford’s B team, centre-back Theo Robinson joining on loan from Notts County until January and striker Alfie Bradshaw on a 28-day loan from Nottingham Forest.
Hungerford Town have seen striker Kyle Tooze leave. The talismanic forward is a natural force on the pitch and has been a regular for Danny Robinson at Crusaders and former club Thatcham Town.
Writing on social media, Tooze said: “There is no perfect time or leaving a club where you want to stay with some good people and friends, but these things happen in football. Thank you for your continued support and hope the club achieves its play-off goals.”
