Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi is worried about the big band’s goodbye show in Birmingham on July 5, when the report emerged that the Ozzy Osbourne’s Heart vocalist was monitored every day.
The back to the beginning, takes place at the iconic Villa Park Stadium, will see the Black Sabbath line-up consulted from Tony, Ozzy, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward-Bers back on stage for the first time in 20 years.
This event – also with supporting appearances from people like Metallica and Slayer – referred to as Ozzy’s last separation to fans, following a decrease in his health due to the diagnosis of Parkinson’s 2020 and extensive spinal surgery.
Speaking to Music Week three weeks before the show, Tony admitted: ‘This will be a big and monumental thing if everything is fine. The worrying thing for me is unknown.
‘We don’t know what will happen. Usually, when we tour, we will practice and run it for a while, and that is only us. But with this event there are so many other moving parts.
“You are used to Ozzy running around, but he will definitely not do that for this show. I don’t know whether he will stand or sit on the throne or anything. ‘

Last month, chatting at Ozzy Speaks, the Osbournes star revealed his blood pressure was taken 15 times a day.
Ozzy explained: ‘I have a man of this coach who helps people return to normal. Difficult, but he believes that he can do it for me. I give everything I have.
‘This is endurance. The first thing that happens when you lie down is your stamina.
‘I have my blood pressure taken 15 times a day .. I have this device on my finger. It was a monitor to say how my heartbeat was. ‘
The charity concert once saw Ozzy conduct a solo segment before the legendary rocker gathered for the last time.
The results will collect money for Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
According to Tony’s words, last month Ozzy claimed he might ‘sit’ for the show.
‘I will be there, and I will do the best I can. So all I can do is appear, ‘he told The Guardian.
In addition to his daily heart monitoring, Ozzy revealed a vocal coach works with him four days a week to ‘fixed [his] voices leave ‘.
‘I have a walking problem. I also got blood pressure problems, from blood clots in my feet, ‘he said.

Ozzy Sharon Osbourne’s wife announced news of a farewell show in February.
‘This is very emotional but very happy. It’s time for Ozzy to say good night to everyone, and what is better to do it besides doing it surrounded by your friends, your family, and back to the beginning – the place where he was born – in Aston, ‘he said.
“He is very happy to be back and very emotional about this,” Sharon told The Sun after the announcement.
‘Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. This is not something you can stabilize. This affects various parts of the body and it affects his feet.
“But his voice was as good as before.”
Lasting throughout the day, the Heavy Metal Festival will also feature musician supergrupts including Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins, Duff McKagan and Slash from Guns’ n Roses, Frank Durst from Linc Bizkit, Mike Bordin from Faith No More, and Tom Morello from Rage to the engine.
