Amanda Holden suffered a blow as a controversial Netflix showing Axed

Although the first season is very successful, Netflix Amanda Holden has landed on a pile of memo.

In April, Cheat: an unfinished business at the streaming platform, with British talent judge Amanda, 54, and Celebs went on an expert date Paul Brunson, 50, as the host.

The format raised eyebrows before the first episode even landed, because many were skeptical after learning participants would be reunited with their cheating costs.

Filmed in Majorca, Spain, eight ex -couples, who broke up because one was unfaithful, visited luxury retreats to see whether it was possible to overcome their differences.

Cheat proved to be very popular with Pita, found himself in the top 10 of the most watched Netflix events in 22 countries, including Britain and the US.

Unfortunately, it seems that the statistics are not enough to convince the commissioners that the second season is feasible.

A source told The Sun that the reality series would not return, explaining: ‘Although cheats are popular among the audience, Netflix has decided to pursue a new event format.’

A spokesman for Netflix also confirmed: ‘Cheat: The unfinished business will not return.’

However, this may not be the last one we see from Amanda in this service.

“The boss loves Amanda and is talking to her in three different event ideas, so the possibility of fans will see more on the platform in the future,” added the insider.

‘Amanda is still very many loudest women in the showbiz and ordered and busy in the future.’

Indeed, there is no lack of work for the TV personality, which hosts the Heart FM breakfast event every working morning, with Jamie Theakston.

The listening characters for the show have jumped in recent months, seeing Heart overtaking BBC Radio 2 to become the largest commercial breakfast event in the UK with a weekly listener 4.2 million.

In addition, Amanda will return to shoot BGT auditions in October, as well as the fourth series of renovations with comedian Alan Carr, after shooting in Greece this summer.

And as if all that was not enough, the Amanda quiz show, The Inner Circle, was launched at BBC One in October, with cash prizes on the telephone for players to be brought home after testing their general knowledge and strategic thinking.

Relationship expert Paul has also seen a surge in popularity this year, thanks to the We Need to Talk podcast, which has featured celebrity guests such as Kulisa, Maura Higgins, Katie Price, and Cher Lloyd.

Before the cheat was launched in this spring, the Washington-born star expressed his joy to work with Amanda so that they could dive into ‘all areas of gray affair’ together.

“Working with Amanda Holden has become my dream, so with him on a ship, it is impossible for me to say no, ‘he praised.
