Alex Dover has dealt with injury woes for years

Dover are happy despite Maidenhead United dropping out of the Plate

Alex Dover played 90 minutes for Maidenhead United for the first time in 5 years. Dover have been a fixture for the Magpies but recent years have been blighted by an ACL injury.

In September 2023, he underwent a second ACL reconstruction surgery after previously undergoing the same procedure in September 2021.

The 2025/26 season begins his 17th season of football including leading the squad in an FA Cup tie.

Great to see Dove back there!

An emphatic effort from Reading against Kidlington in the SRWF League Cup. The home team scored 11 goals against the visiting Division One North team. Nat Cowell with four goals along with five other scorers.

Reading will now face Penn & Tyler’s Green in Round Two of the competition. They are likely to be chasing silverware this season after being knocked out in the FA Cup and County Cup.

Finchampstead fired five shots towards Ashridge Park

Ashridge Park welcomed Finchampstead to Cantley Park in this Berkshire clash with the visitors coming out on top.

Finch came straight out of the traps with just three minutes to go before their first goal was scored by Ruby Huggins. Ashridge hit back in the 73rd minute to deny a clean sheet but two more goals from Finch were enough to end the game.

Finch are in the promotion race just four points behind Eversley & California with 3 games remaining.
