American singer-songwriter Oliver Tree has died following a helicopter crash in Brazil, it has been reported.
32-year-old alternative rock artist and social media personality best remembered for his hit songs Life Goes On, Miss You, and ULTRAMAN.
According to CNN Brazil, he was in Rio de Janeiro when the incident occurred.
The outlet reported that Tree and five other people were killed when two helicopters collided over an electric vehicle yard Sunday morning.
Local outlet metropolitan people reported that Tree and passengers Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim, Lucas Brito Chaves were in the same helicopter with pilot Alexandre Souza, while the other was only driven by Charles Marsillac.
Investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
He is halfway through a world tour for his fourth album Love You Madly, Hate You Badly, which kicked off in Mexico City and is planned to include dates in China, Japan, Antarctica, New Zealand and South Africa.
Tree first became famous at the age of 17, working on presentations for bands Skrillex and Zeds Dead under the name Tree.
In 2013, he released an independent album, before taking a break to study music technology at the California Institute of the Arts.
She signed with Atlantic Records in 2017, after her song When I’m Down went viral, leading to the release of her debut studio album Ugly Is Beautiful in 2020.
Followed by Cowboy Tears in 2022 and Alone in a Crowd on September 29 2023.
In addition to her music, Tree is known for her signature look – including her signature bowl cut and over-the-top outfits.
With Life Goes on and Alien Boy, Tree gained popularity on TikTok, further establishing him as a larger-than-life figure.
Back in February, he reflected on his relationship with music, writing that music has ‘always consumed my entire being, but the current internet climate values the promotion of art more than the art itself’.
‘It drains my soul. “Getting away from the noise to explore and record this album has shown me how much beauty is packed into every corner of this earth,” he wrote.
Enjoying renewed vigor following the release of his latest album, he added: ‘I have connected and shared moments with people from all walks of life and this has restored my faith in humanity. It fills my heart with hope. After logging out, I felt brand new and I couldn’t wait to share my perspective with you. Thank you to all of you who have followed me and my music at every point of my journey, I can’t wait to take you on my next adventure.’
Following the tragic news, fans began flooding social media to pay tribute, with debbie.check describing her on Instagram as a ‘special soul’.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
