Windsor & Eton’s final action as a Combined Nations League team was to face Wokingham Town in the Cherry Red Records Premier Challenge Cup Final.
The match is the Combined Nations League Cup Final and takes place at Cobham’s O’Mutton Field Leg ground in Surrey on Tuesday 12 May 2026.
Windsor won 1-0 at Epsom & Ewell in the Semi-Final while Wokingham beat Wallingford & Crowmarsh 3-1 – although play was stopped late on due to an injury to Tyler D’Cruz, but the result stood.
In terms of matches between the two teams this season, it is ‘honor even’ with a 0-0 draw at Lowther Road in August and a 1-1 draw at Stag Meadow in April in the league.
For Windsor & Eton it will be the final game as the Combined Nations League side have won promotion to Step 4 via the Play-Offs when they beat Broadfields United 2-0, while for Wokingham Town it is a chance to put some shine on a season that has seen marked improvement and a healthy mid-table finish after several seasons of struggling to stay in the division.
Kick-off 7.45pm at Cobham FC: Reg Madgwick Stadium, Leg o Mutton, Downside Bridge Rd, Cobham KT11 3EP

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
